Community is at the heart of everything we do. Each Roffey Homes development is designed and built to provide comfortable homes that enhance their surroundings and create welcoming neighbourhoods.
Work is now underway at Union Gardens, and as part of our commitment to the Worthing community we’ve called home since 1960, we have created a fund of £36,000 for local projects and organisations. The fund will be split equally across the expected 3-year construction period of Union Gardens. This means there’s a community fund of £12,000 a year available for the next three years. So, what could your local group use funding for?
Who can apply for funding?
If you’re part of a community group or local charity based in central Worthing, you can apply.
Examples of eligible groups are: Worthing-based local charities, neighbourhood groups carrying out local improvements, school PTA groups and social enterprises. Perhaps you’re a PTA raising money for an improvement to your school in central Worthing and would like some additional funding. Or a community group who’d like some help upgrading their facilities.
This list is not exhaustive, however – if you’re part of any other kind of group and would like support for a particular project or activity, we’d love to hear from you.
